Doña Josefa Community Health Blog

Community Health is the cornerstone of public health, and at Ateneo De Zamboanga University – School of Medicine, we take this mission to heart. Our innovative, competency-based, and community-oriented curriculum is designed to empower the next generation of health professionals to address the most pressing health challenges facing underserved regions.

Our team has been assigned to the Barangay Doña Josefa in the Municipality of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, where we are working tirelessly to identify and address the root causes of health disparities. Through rigorous data collection, innovative solutions, and compassionate care, we are making a real difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Join us on this journey as we explore the challenges and triumphs of community health, and work tirelessly towards building a healthier, more equitable world for all.
