Team DJ Attends Orientation on Updated WACS
Team DJ recently attended an enlightening orientation seminar on the updated version of Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS). This seminar introduced new tools and methodologies designed to assess the volume and types of waste generated within a community. As part of our Solid Waste Management Community Health Plan in Barangay Doña Josefa, this knowledge equips us to better understand local waste dynamics and design targeted interventions.
WACS is an invaluable tool that provides data-driven insights, helping communities identify key areas of waste generation and patterns of disposal. By attending this seminar, Team DJ is now prepared to use WACS to analyze waste trends in Barangay Doña Josefa and formulate actionable strategies that address specific challenges such as segregation, recycling, and reduction of residual waste.
The orientation emphasized the importance of accurate data collection, which serves as the foundation for effective waste management solutions. With the skills gained from this training, Team DJ is committed to applying the updated WACS framework to support sustainable practices and reduce environmental impact in the barangay.
This marks another milestone in our journey toward a cleaner and greener Barangay Doña Josefa. We look forward to sharing the progress of our waste management initiatives and fostering collaboration with residents to achieve our shared environmental goals. Stay tuned for updates on our WACS implementation and its outcomes!
