Routine Mass BP Monitoring: Strengthening Hypertension Management in Barangay Doña Josefa
In every community engagement, Team DJ remains committed to our mission of enhancing health outcomes in Barangay Doña Josefa. As part of our Community Health Plan (CHP), we regularly conduct mass blood pressure (BP) monitoring for all residents aged 18 and above. This effort aims to identify undiagnosed hypertension cases and ensure proper monitoring and management for those affected.
During our recent engagement, we carefully checked residents' blood pressure, providing immediate feedback and guidance based on their results. Those with elevated BP levels received counseling about their condition and were invited to join the Barangay’s Hypertension Club. This club not only offers regular monitoring but also connects members with essential health education and access to treatment.
This routine activity highlights our dedication to addressing the high prevalence of hypertension in the barangay. By identifying and supporting individuals with hypertension, we aim to reduce complications and promote healthier lifestyles within the community.
Team DJ will continue to strengthen this initiative in collaboration with the barangay health team, ensuring that no resident is left behind in our quest for a healthier Barangay Doña Josefa. Stay informed for more impactful activities as we progress!
