“Bowl Movement” Seminar by Team Doña Josefa
What a rewarding Wednesday it was! A successful seminar on the Importance of Sanitary Toilets and Proper Hand Hygiene, titled "Bowl Movement," illuminated the day. With the resonant theme, "Sa limpyo nga palibot makasiguro ta sa mas safe nga kinabuhi. Magkahiusa ug magtinabangay ang tanan para sa mas baskog nga kaugmaon," the seminar was a collaborative effort led by Team Doña Josefa from Ateneo de Zamboanga University – School of Medicine, in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) and dedicated Barangay Health Workers.
The event unfolded at the Barangay Doña Josefa Covered Court, a fitting venue for a gathering centered around community health and hygiene awareness. Gratitude fills our hearts as we extend a special thank you to Ma'am Kim Esteria, who graciously accepted our invitation to share her insights on environmental health and sanitation. Her talk encompassed not only the importance of sanitary toilets but also delved into the significance of proper hand washing practices, a crucial aspect of personal hygiene.
The seminar aimed not only to educate but to ignite a collective spirit of unity and cooperation. The collaboration between Team Doña Josefa, the BLGU, and Barangay Health Workers highlighted the power of community-driven initiatives. As we congregated under the sun at the heart of Barangay Doña Josefa, the seminar embodied the essence of a unified effort for a healthier and safer future.
The impact of the seminar radiates beyond the event itself, leaving us inspired and motivated to further contribute to the well-being of the community. Stay connected for more updates as we continue our journey of empowerment, education, and fostering positive change within Barangay Doña Josefa and beyond.
